One year after Makala & Jimmy Bidaurreta's "Descarga Libre" release, album which has received nice reviews & has been well positioned in some 2019 best album charts. Now is the turn of "Descarga Libre Remixed", an album containing a great variety of remixes of artists & producers coming from different parts of the world. Starting from Bulgarian Kosta Kostov based in Köln, droppin' us a powerful bomb but at same time a sweet remix of "Baches Y Deseos" sung by Fedzilla, member of London WARA group, plus the brilliant collaboration on accordion of Rui Lobo. The ellegant jazzy-disco-house style re-interpretation of "Irratian" track by the hand of young talented Navarrian producer Piek is simply admirable. The great input of broken-beat remix of "Descarga Libre" interpretated by Cuban Omar Gonzalez Mesa, manufactured now by Portuguese friend & producer based in London Rui Fradinho it’s awesome, and has been already acclaimed by Daz-I-Kue, one of the original members of Bugz in the Attic. The unpredictable Argentinian producer Ezequiel Lodeiro got magic making us a mysterious tribal house mid-tempo remix of track "Ancestros". Definetely 2019 has been a good year for project Reykjavik606 of San Sebastian city, cause they've been nominated by Spanish main musical newspaper Mondo Sonoro as best electronic record of year with his faboulous album “Endless Summer In Peckham”, we're so happy for including here their vibrant remix of our "Tinta Negra" song. Straight from Chicago comes Bumbac Joe, giving us a totally surprise with his science fiction remix of "Baches Y Deseos", which transport us to a kind of phuturistic "Blade Runner" movie scenario. The two 80's flavourished remixes of "Tinta Negra" on disco & dub version by the hand of engineer & producer Miguelito Superstar from Nacion Funk studio of Barcelona are superb. Finally DJ Makala, has made a smokey dubby syncopated remix of "Ganga" song inspired by his adored Jamaican producer, the master King Tubby.
